Carpet Repairs

What types of carpet repairs can we do?

Carpet Patching (For Burns, Stains, or Tears)

If a small section is damaged, you can cut out the affected area and replace it with a matching piece.
You’ll need carpet adhesive, a utility knife, and a spare carpet piece (from a closet or leftover from installation).

Carpet Stretching (For Wrinkles or Loose Carpet)

If your carpet has ripples or loose spots, a carpet stretcher tool can pull it tight again.
This prevents tripping hazards and restores the carpet’s appearance.

Seam Repair (For Separating or Frayed Seams)

Carpet seams can be re-glued or re-taped using seam adhesive or seam tape with a hot iron.
This helps prevent further unraveling.

Fixing Snags & Pulls (For Looped Carpet)

Trim loose threads with scissors instead of pulling them to prevent further damage.
A drop of super glue or fray check can secure small snags.

Deep Stains & Odors

Some tough stains can be removed with professional carpet cleaning.
For persistent odors, try baking soda or an enzymatic cleaner.

Carpet Vacuum

Fix it, don't replace it.
